The Tri-Community Food Shelf in Cromwell (serving the communities of Cromwell, Wright and Tamarack) is in need of jars of jam and jelly for their food shelves. They get an abundance of peanut butter, but no jam or jelly to round out the PBJ. The United Way would like to help fill the shelves with jams and jellies (store-bought only), and is asking for your help during the month of February. Start a work place drive, or next time you go grocery shopping pick up an extra jar. Drop it by our office 202 Ave C, Cloquet, Monday-Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm.
51 jars and counting.
Donations have come in from generous individuals, Minnesota Power employees, Cloquet Ford Chrysler Center employees, Duluth News Tribune/Pine Journal employees, and United Way staff.
