What is 2-1-1?
2-1-1 is a free, confidential service and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer information and referrals to community resources such as family counseling, housing, food, health services, transportation, child and senior services, volunteer opportunities and much more.
There are over 700 health, human and community service agencies serving our area, and searching for the right service can often be confusing and frustrating.
2-1-1 can help.
By dialing 2-1-1, or 218-726-4855, or 800-543-7709, residents of Carlton, Cook, Lake and St. Louis Counties will be able to talk to a trained volunteer or staff member who will listen to their concerns and be able to direct them to the appropriate service for further help.
